The Society for the Poor is a ministry open to all parishioners who wish to live their faith by loving and serving their neighbor. It serves persons in need, regardless of creed, opinion, color, caste, and origin. It is placed under the patronage of St. Vincent DePaul and derives its inspiration from his thinking and his work. It seeks, in a spirit of justice and charity and by person-to-person involvement of its members, to help those who are suffering. The mark of the society: Unity, Fraternity, Simplicity, Christian Joy.
